If you feel that a pet is a bit too much trouble, adopt a Squawkers McCaw. He acts exactly like a real bird and he doesn't take your salary away with buying food and bedding. He comes with his own food that can be used over and over. It is a rubber cracker. All the buttons on the remote control have a different reaction on Squawkers. For example, if you push C he will laugh hysterically. I recommend Squawkers as a pet that isn't a pet.Hasbro SquawkersA great novelty item that the whole family can enjoy. Especially if you have cats or dogs. It has numerous uses for home or office and quite a vocabulary. It can even mimic your voice as well. There are some funny videos of it out there on the internet. However; this orignally sold for under fifty dollars. Needless to say I am not about to pay the current Amazon seller price which is almost double that. I will shop around and see if I can find it for original price, if not I'm passing until the next model comes out for a reasonable price and probably more features.
