Who knows why but I'm told this is the best book out there to introduce them to their new baby!Great Book!!My son absolutely loves this book. I'm 4.5 months pregnant and he already has a little sister. The book reminds him how special he is because he's a big brother and he's the only him in the world!! My son (5 yr old) can't help but smile every time I read him this book. He's so excited for his little brother/sister to be born so that he can be a big brother!!Great simple way to introduce your "big brother" to what's around the cornerOur little boy, age 4, wanted this read many times, and he's way past the stage where he wants books read and re-read. But this really "spoke to him." He loved it. I think it really made him understand what was going to happen soon, and made him excited about becoming a big brother. It's written at a very, very simple level, is quite brief (few pages and few words per page), and accessible to young preschoolers and toddlers. But for purposes of introducing the topic, maybe these things are advantages; they seemed to be for our little boy.Best book we found for a 2 1/2 year oldThis book was well written, with a cute story line for a toddler. It was easy for our 2 1/2 year old son to follow and the level of the story was easy for him to understand.Great book!I really like this book. My son is only 13 months old, so he has a hard time understanding what's going on, but he LOVES this book! He will even grab it while we're reading him a different book and make us read this one instead! It does a good job at telling him he needs to be gentile and making him still feel special and not jealous. I'm excited to keep reading it to him as he gets older and can understand more! He does rub my belly now, sometimes on his own, sometimes when we say "love the baby" and yesterday he found a pack of Soothies we bought for her and I told him they were for the baby, and he put them on my belly trying to give them to her! I'm not sure how much reading this book has to do with his understanding of this whole thing, but it sure hasn't hurt! :)Product DescriptionMy Big Boy Potty My Big Girl Potty When You Were Inside Mommy Sharing is Fun Read more...
